"Lagoon favours life on board," explains Marc Van Peteghem, creator with Vincent Lauriot-Prévost of VPLP Design, a naval architecture firm renowned worldwide for its multihulls. Each Lagoon has to be different while being part of the same family. We seek to maintain this coherence, this harmony that one feels when sailing a Lagoon. And as our DNA drives us to design seaworthy and safe boats, we also seek to achieve good to very good performance levels".
Lagoon catamarans are the fruit of an alliance of talents. Those from CNB, one of the most respected shipyards in the world of superyachts, and those from Groupe Bénéteau, the world leader in the production of pleasure boats. Proven production methods, controlled costs, certified quality, Lagoon's expertise combines attention to detail, creativity and industrial rigour. The structure of the deck and hulls is made by infusion and vacuum injection, processes that guarantee weight savings, better quality of the composite and good environmental protection. The furniture is manufactured by Lagoon in a high-tech cabinet making facility equipped with numerically controlled machines, with computerised identification of the parts and pre-assembly upstream. All the furniture panels are made of Alpi® reconstituted wood, an eco-responsible choice allowing a wide variety of shapes with a high-strength handmade finish.
